Haden Cain
Instrumentalist and Composer, Haden Cain, is fascinated by non-traditional forms of composition workflow, media consumption, and sound design. Before studies of these practices began. Barbershop harmony and vocal jazz brought Haden his largest international collaborations and opportunities as of late in his career, but he is searching for something new.
Changing his attention to study the new, innovative tools and workflows used today that will change the way music is constructed, perceived, and distributed. His high school favored achievements in the arts, so Haden used every opportunity to grow within the band, choral, videography, and theater departments along with taking years of theory study. He has used this training to express emotions through song and explorer the seemingly endless possibilities of sound manipulation and organization. Currently, As a second-year student at IUPUI, Haden is a performing multi-instrumentalist and composer for the Electro-Acoustic ensemble where he strengthens connections with hard-working, like-minded musicians and engineers. Haden plans to continue studying the new age of music composition and consumption that we are living in today in order to contribute to reshaping its effectiveness in the future.
