Trishna Patkar-Banerjee is a 4th-year student at IUPUI. This is her 2nd full year in the BSMT program and her 1st semester taking A200. She has been playing the piano for almost 12 years, therefore she takes P200 lessons as well.
Overall, she likes to compose music during her freetime, aspiring to have a profession in the field. Before joining the music technology program, she only had experience composing for acoustic instruments.

An example of a past work, “Tranquil State,” was performed with the Electronic Music Ensemble (ExMe) in Fall 2020. For this semester, she has been improving her mixing and mastering skills, including learning about MIDI mapping to audio effect racks in Ableton.
